IIM Ranchi was established in 2009 and has quickly risen to be on of the Top B Schools in the country. IIM Ranchi uses the IPMAT Conducted by IIM Indore as Entrance for IPM Course
The flagship programme at IIM Ranchi is the two year MBA in General management. IIM Ranchi is perhaps the only IIM offering a full-time two year programme in Human Resources Management (MBA-HR). IIM Ranchi decided to introduce its IPM program for students who are completing their 12th standard from 2021
IIM Ranchi has a sprawling 90 acre state-of-the-art campus with all modern facilities & infrastructure. IIM Ranchi has a 100% placement record with the highest international package recorded at INR 58 Lakhs p.a. in the recent placements.
IPM Program at IIM Ranchi has a diverse and multidisciplinary focus. The first four terms will expose you to knowledge borrowed from humanities, social sciences, arts, mathematics, and natural sciences. In the rest of the program in the first three years, you will learn from the various business disciplines, i.e., management, marketing, accounting, finance, information systems, economics, operations, and strategy. All of this will lay a solid base on which the MBA program will build and prepare you for the world of business and give you the tools to succeed and excel.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates satisfying the following criteria are eligible to apply for the Five-Year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) of IIM Ranchi.

General, NC-OBC and EWS Category:

Minimum 60% in Std. X and Std. XII

Minimum 55% in Std. X and Std. XII

There are no age limits for applying to IPM program at IIM Ranchi

Candidates who are likely to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent by the end of July 2021 can also apply.

The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the 10th and the 12th standard would be calculated based on the Board’s regulations. If there is no such regulation regarding aggregate marks from the concerned Board, then the aggregate marks of all the subjects that appear in the grade sheet will be considered for calculating the passing percentage

Selection Criteria:
IIM Ranchi does not conduct its own entrance Exam. Students can apply through SAT or through IPMAT exam conducted by IIM Indore
PROCESS A: Through SAT

Step 1: Student needs to Apply/Appear for SAT Exam

Step 2: Send your SAT Score to IIM Ranchi through College Board Website (College Board is the organisation which conducts SAT across the world)

Step 3: Fill the IPM Application Form on IIM Ranchi website (Only after applying for SAT) within the application deadline

Step 4: The Candidates shortlisted on basis of SAT Score will be invited for PI (Personal Interview) and WAT (Written Ability Test)

Step 5: Final Admission list is declared
PROCESS B: Through IPMAT by IIM Indore Exam

Step 1: Student needs to fill IPMAT by IIM Indore Exam Form

Step 2: Fill the IPM Application Form on IIM Ranchi website (Only after applying for IPMAT exam) within the application deadline

Step 3: Appear for IPMAT by IIM Indore Exam

FINAL MERIT LIST CRITERIA:
A Composite Score is calculated to arrive at the final merit list to select the best students. The weightage is accorded to four criteria as below. In addition 5% extra weightage is given as 'Bonus' points for gender Diversity which basically means extra points for Female candidates
